Agenda

• Approve Agenda.
  • Michelle motioned to approve the agenda, Julie seconded, all in favor.
• Approve Minutes
  • Michelle motioned to approve the minutes, Allison seconded, all in favor.
• Feedback
  • Feedback was taken and the community councill was encouraged to take a survey about the beginning of the year./li>
• Blue Ribbon
  • The announcement should happen the week of September 14 - 16. An exact date and time hasn’t been given. Wednesday at 3:00 in the library parents and staff are invited to plan media/ student and staff celebrations etc. for the announcement.
• Drop Off/ Pick Up
  • Each Sunday night a parent email is sent with a link to the handbook. Currently we are encouraging parents to review the pick up and drop off of students.
• Parent Teacher Conferences
  • During the last week of September team time would be dedicated to preparation time for Parent Teacher Conferences.
  • In Person Conferences will be held Monday Oct. 10 from 2:-3:15, Tuesday Oct 11 from 12 - 6:15
  • In addition parents can set up a time the week of October 3-7 from 2:00 - 3:00
• Ongoing communication
  • Parents will be notified of students essential scores within 10 days of testing.
  • Positive messages will be sent about childrens academics and behavior.
• Picture Day Heroes
• Parent volunteers are needed for picture day September 20th. The council members were invited to help.

Impotant Dates

• September 20th - picture day
• October 5th - District flu, COVID and adult immunization clinic
• October 10th - Next Community Council Meeting.
