School improvement Plan Review

• The board reviewed the plan
• We are reporting the correct numbers to the state

Parent-Teacher Conferences -

• For next year it is proposed we have face-to-face meetings with parents at the beginning of the year in September.
• The remainder of the year will include regular communication when BOY and MOY tests are given.
• There will be another official communication with parents at the end of the second trimester (Second PTC Conference time).
• This will include some face-to-face, zoom, or phone calls.
• For February 2022. Official contact with all parents some more formal meetings will be set up if needed
• Idea: Ask teachers, “What is something that makes your child happy in your class?”

National Blue Ribbon School Nomination

• We are applying for a Blue Ribbon Award. Due January 14th
• SCC will need to sign the application.

2022 - 2023 School Calenda

• Passed out for members to look at and approve.

Gallup Poll Results

• Went over school goals connected to these results including making sure staff feels valued, has trusted colleagues in the school, and feels supported.

Committee to help include new students and staff to our school:

• Erika Logan - willing to join the committee
• Mike Hale is willing to help if needed also

Adams Elementary School parent and Family engagement policy:

• board members read, edited, and passed off the policy.
